Bob is a Rocket Scientist turned Patent Attorney*. Bob brings his NASA-can-do attitude to solving IP related issues. He possesses 10 years of patent preparation and prosecution experience coupled with over 15 years of engineering and management experience. Bob has written over 100 patent applications, prosecuted hundreds more, and successfully appealed applications for universities, established corporations, entrepreneurs, start-up companies, and other clients.
In addition he has helped clients design around existing patents, performed non-infringement analyses, and supervised other Intellectual Property Attorneys. He has also managed patent portfolios and mined projects for potentially patentable inventions for Fortune 100 Companies.
Moreover, Bob's extensive engineering and managerial experience includes work on the Space Station and Space Shuttle projects (among other NASA related projects). He also served as an Internal Research and Development (IRAD) Manager and flew in zero-gravity. He possesses several patents and patent applications of his own. In addition, he managed a rocket research laboratory at the Johnson Space Center.
